As a busy mom you are constantly giving to those around you. The to-do list of a mom can seem just about overwhelming at times!
There is the cooking, the cleaning, the grocery shopping, the bath times, reading books, doing laundry, and on and on and on.
Add in a spouse and your day job (if applicable), and you have very little time for yourself!!
This can be a recipe for disaster!
Trust me, you NEED to focus on yourself, if you want to be able to have anything left to give to your people.
You can’t pour from an empty cup.
I know we have all heard that saying before. But it’s so true and worth the reminder again.
We need to remind ourselves, self care is not selfish. Self care is not rude. It’s essential to being the best mom and partner and friend and employee that we can be.
