Earlier this year I started a series on the blog where I highlight some of my favorite bloggers and writers in the simple living and minimalism niche.

This is the second post in that series and I am so excited to share my picks with you.

Since I started sharing my message over on Instagram I have met and gleaned a wealth of inspiration from so many new-to-me voices.  And the cool thing is that none of the people on the list today actually have a blog! They are using Instagram as their platform to share their story and build connection.  How cool is that??

I encourage you to check out these simple living instagram accounts, follow one or two (or all!) and simply be inspired!  Everyone here is after the same goal….living a simpler life without the excess in the hopes of pursuing more intention and fulfillment in their lives.

Each person has his or her own unique voice and I love that we can all be part of this community together and learn from each other.

Tableware! I don’t enjoy hoarding unnecessary tableware items. I have what I need for small gatherings, serving, and daily meals. My kitchen has limited storage space, so I maximised the use of the vertical aspect of my cupboards by using these great shelf dividers from IKEA. I mostly prefer plain, basic-looking kitchen items, they are less distracting; and my focus will be on my food rather than on my dishes! When you open a drawer or cupboard, it’s nice to be able to see everything inside it at a glance. I try to fill my cupboards to a maximum of 70% to allow the items to “breathe”, have easier access, and look neat. I plan to use the empty space in the middle to store my son’s tiny tableware, where they will fit perfectly! #mytidyworld #konmari #sparkjoy #konmarimethod #tidy

spring simplifying tip: start by considering what each object means to you. next, realize that just because an item holds a memory doesn’t mean it needs to collect dust in a box in storage. if your item is truly significant to you, display it! more importantly, if you can get rid of even 1 item, then do it.
